We’re excited to launch a network of Discovery bible studies!

Discovery Bible Study (DBS) small groups are based on the simplicity of the early church (Acts 2:42)—which focus primarily on two activities: teaching and fellowship.

Anyone Can Lead a DBS Small Group

This role isn't about being an expert; it’s about helping friends meet up, explore the Bible, and grow together. If you can host a simple gathering, you can lead a group.

The main goal is to help people gather, grow spiritually, build community, and show others how simple it is to host their own group.

Simple Steps to Lead

1. Host the Gathering

  • Pick a Time and Place: Choose a day and time that works for you (like Sundays, 5–7 pm). Open your home (or another easy location) for a couple of hours.

  • Guide the Discussion: You simply guide the group using the easy Discovery Bible Study (DBS) method. This simple method helps everyone see for themselves what the Bible says about life's big questions.

2. Keep It Simple and Welcoming

  • Hospitality: Try to include food or snacks—it makes the time better.

  • Empower Others: Encourage people to participate and take on parts of leading. By simply running the group, you are modeling and teaching others how easy it is to host groups effectively.

Join us in this mission: This is the way we grow—together!
